ROBERTA KRAVITZ: Paintings, Drawings & Monotypes

Roberta Kravitz's work is spiritual and narrative, exploring a variety of media: unstretched hangings, monotypes, watercolour, oil and live performance. Subjects include nursery rhymes, fables of La Fontaine, Reynard the Fox, Alice in Wonderland, mythical beasts, and studies from nature.

 

Roberta was born in New Jersey and grew up in London. She studied Philosophy at University College London and Painting at the Slade School of Fine Art. She lives in London and has exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, in Berlin, Rio de Janiero, Santiago de Chile, and performed at the ICA, Riverside Studios, and Musee d’Art Moderne Paris.
