Description: Striking skylines and waterlines are represented in Martin Fidler’s new series of Urban and marine drawings, paintings and sculpture. Original views of London and Venice are among the places that have been composed in sets of paintings that make new interpretations of these challenging locations. Martin Fidler’s use of colour, shape and forms are experiments with describing and viewing places by this conceptual artist.

This is Fidler’s second exhibition at the GXgallery within one year and which will precede his participation in a group show of other established artists, writers and poets at the Victoria and Albert Museum in April 2008.
